Ailing Twelve Year Old Gets Her Wish Fulfilled

TWELVE-year-old Siti Nor Nurul Aryani Anjas Asmara was smiling from ear-to-ear when she received a surprise visitor at her home in Pekan Nenas, Johor recently.

She couldn’t contain her excitement when CWS Malaysia volunteer Lee Yiang Ming showed up at her door. Somehow this young lass knew she was going to get her wish fulfilled.

Siti Nor Nurul may look like a normal healthy girl and beneath all the smiles, she is actually suffering from congenital heart disease (large sinus venosus ASD with pulmonary hypertension in failure).

She is on home oxygen and because of her condition, she has had to stop going to school due to increasing fatigue & worsening symptoms.

She took to the Samsung tab that she had wished for from CWS Malaysia like fish to water and was immediately absorbed in the gadget.

CWS Malaysia vice president Teoh Teik Hoong said the society continued to reach out to children who were suffering from chronic and terminal illness across the country.

“Even during this trying economic times we continue to seek out children who need a smile while battling with their conditions.”

“The society continues to raise sufficient funds to fulfill the wishes it receives and we hope that caring Malaysians will help us in our mission to bring smiles back to these children,” he said.
